| Early childhood education is reflected in a philosophy built on solid, nurturing principles as we believe that a carefully researched programme can pave the way for your child's future success, where children are taught to respect themselves, those around them and others who might be different. |

Our philosophy is based on a set of strongly held beliefs, where our children are taught critical thinking skills, problem solving, decision making and abilities that make a child safer in today's world. The skills and knowledge children learn today play a major role in determining who they'll be tomorrow.
TELC's philosophy is based on a developmental approach which emphasizes learning through the Experiential Learning approach.
Experiential Learning is a procedure based on the systematic development and modification of one's action theory (taking actions and simultaneously reflecting on one's actions to learn from it).
Experiential Learning is concerned with how prior knowledge influences performance on certain cognitive tasks. It examines the children's ability to deal with novelty and the degree to which thought processing is automized.
Effective experiential learning will affect children's thinking, attitudes, values and behaviour patterns. An accepting and caring social environment together with the support from informed teachers encourage children to experiment with learning.
